📝 How to Participate

  1. Join our Organization: Click the "Request to join this org" button at the top right corner of this page
  2. Register: Fill out the registration form by clicking on the yellow button above (or clicking here)
  3. Form a Team (optional): You can participate as an individual or as a team of 2-5 members
  4. Build Your Project: Follow the specific guidelines for your chosen track ⬇️
  5. Submit: Push your project (in the form of a Space) to this organization before the deadline (June 8, 2025, 11:59 PM UTC)

🎯 Submission Guidelines

Track 1: MCP Server / Tool

  1. Your submission should be a Gradio app Space that is also an MCP Server
  2. In your Space README.md, add the tag: "mcp-server-track"
  3. Please also include in your README.md a (link to a) video recording of your MCP server in action using any MCP Client (e.g. Claude Desktop, Cursor, Tiny Agents). If you are using another Gradio app as an MCP Client, that is also an acceptable, you can link to that Space.

Track 2: Custom Components for Agents

  1. Create a custom Gradio component using Gradio 5 and publish it to Spaces using gradio cc publish.
  2. In your published Space's README.md, add the tag: "custom-component-track"
  3. Please also include in your README.md a link to a Gradio app or recording of one showing the component in action

Track 3: Agentic Demo

  1. Create a complete Gradio app that showcases any sort of powerful or creative application of AI agents
  2. Publish the app on Spaces and in the README.md, add the tag: "agent-demo-track"
  3. Please also include in your README.md a link to a video overview of your app explaining the usage / purpose of the application

❓ FAQ

Q: Do I need to have experience with Agents or MCP to participate? A: No! We welcome participants of all skill levels. We'll provide resources to help you get started and be available throughout the week on Discord to help answer any questions.

Q: Can I participate as an individual? A: Yes! You can participate as an individual or in a team of up to 5 members.

Q: How will projects be judged? A: Projects will be evaluated based on innovation, technical implementation, usability, and impact. Community likes on Spaces will also be considered.

Q: Will there be support available during the hackathon? A: Yes! We'll have regular office hours with experts, a dedicated Discord channel, and comprehensive documentation.
